Originally built as a theater in the silent film era, The Ideal’s Belle Epoque aesthetic has been beautifully preserved. Magnificent ornamentation, gold accents and amber lighting transport your guests and make for stunning photos.
Unlike other venues, The Ideal is open on a day-to-day basis, so our bartenders are practiced and polished. We stock an extensive selection of fine spirits, beer, and wine and have a seasonally rotating menu of craft cocktails. We can also develop a cocktail menu unique to your special event.

The Ideal gives private rental clients the unique and coveted ability to throw fully- produced private shows for their guests. Our experienced staff can handle every aspect of entertainment booking, and our extensive network means we will secure the perfect entertainment for your event.
The Ideal is fully equipped with all the technology needed for presentations, speeches and more, including a 12 ft wide projection screen and up to 4 wireless microphones. Presenters have the option of standing onstage or moving about the room at leisure.
Pick Your Caterer
The Ideal does not maintain arrangements with caterers, allowing private rental clients to pick whichever caterer they would like for their event. Our bar staff can work with your preferred caterer to develop food and drink pairings.
Delight and feed your guests with a “grazing table”, or large charcuterie spread, composed by our affiliate partner, Hangry Lady. Grazing tables are a fun, classy alternative to traditional appetizer options and can be combined with catered food service, if desired.
